Mining Safety Consultant

As a Mining Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting safety audits, developing and implementing safety protocols, and providing expert advice to mining operators. You will work closely with regulatory bodies, such as the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, to ensure compliance with national and international safety standards. This role is perfect for professionals with a strong background in mining safety and a passion for ensuring the well-being of workers and the environment.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Conducting comprehensive safety audits and inspections of mining operations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with national and international standards.
• Providing expert advice and recommendations to mining operators to enhance safety performance.
• Collaborating with regulatory bodies, such as the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Training and educating mining personnel on safety best practices and procedures.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of safety measures implemented in mining operations.
• Preparing and presenting detailed safety reports to stakeholders, including management and regulatory authorities.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in mining safety through continuous professional development.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining safety, with a proven track record in conducting safety audits and inspections.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field, such as the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or the Certified Professional in Safety (CPS).
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations and international safety standards, such as OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001.
• Proficiency in using safety management software, such as SAP Safety Data Sheets (SDS) or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with mining operators, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Fluency in both English and Indonesian languages is a plus.
